The Peak Tram is truly the only way to experience the beauty of Hong Kong, which will stun you in a uniquely spectacular perspective of the city. The peak Tram is arguably the most enduring emblem of Hong Kong's unique past. It has seen war, been featured in numerous films and television and has even played host to numerous dignities. The peak Tram is located at the Garden road Peak tram termianal, where you can also browse The peak Tram historical gallery, If you desire. We pre booked tickets, which got us on very quickly through the V.I.P section as it was Hong Kong Handover Day Holiday and the crowds were insane. The Tram ride to the peak will take around 10-15 minutes.

Once we arrived we visited The Famous Madame Taussauds wax museum which we all thoroughly enjoyed and had a lot of fun at. Madame Taussauds features over 100 local and international celebrity figures with exciting audio visual effects and fabulous interactive effects which will literally have you star struck. Unfortunately we missed out on the up coming unveiling of Angie, Brad and The Twighlight stars, much to the girls and my disappointment!!

The views from The Sky Terrace are amazing. Standing at 428 metres above sea level, it is the highest viewing platform in Hong Kong offerering a stunning 360-degree view across the beautiful Hong Kong skyline. Wheteher you visit the The Peak in the morning, afternoon or evening, The Sky Terrace is such a scenic spot that you should not miss. I would highly recommend visiting later in the evening so that you can see the view in daylight and also when the sun goes down as it is spectacular.
The Peak has grown since our last visit in 2010 and is the perfect spot to buy something special for friends or relatives. The Peak Market features a modern take on the traditional Hong Kong venues such as Temple street and The ladies Market with vendors selling chinese artwork, silk and colletibles.
There are a huge array of restaurants that offer many options of dining styles from traditional Asian fare, succulent seafood, modern culinary delights as you enjoy some of the most exclusive views of the city.
